Why nothing here has a size

This was a deliberate constraint on what we would sell. Every mechanism has limits, so here is exactly how each one adjusts and where it stops.

The decision

Clothing sizing is the single biggest cause of online returns, and it is the thing most likely to make a gift wrong. So we do not sell anything that needs a size. No garments, no shoes, no gloves, no fixed-size rings.

What is left is still a full wardrobe of accessories — and every one of them either fits everyone or adjusts by hand.

One size by nature

Scarves, wraps, bandanas, twillies, ribbons, brooches, bag charms, card holders, pouches, organiser inserts and travel cases have no size at all. A 35-inch square is a 35-inch square. The dimensions are on every product page so you know what you are getting.

Elasticated

Scrunchies, beaded bracelets, sport headbands, the sleep wrap and knit beanies use covered elastic or stretch knit. They fit a wide range because they stretch.

Elastic has a lifespan. Roll stretch bracelets on and off rather than pulling them wide, keep them dry, and they last far longer. Every product page gives the relaxed measurement and the stretched range.

Open-backed

Cuffs and our rings have a gap at the back. They flex over the wrist or finger and can be gently squeezed to hold position, which covers roughly three US ring sizes per ring and a full range of wrists per cuff.

Adjust slowly, with two hands, at the gap rather than in the middle of the band. Repeated bending fatigues metal, so set it once and leave it.

A measuring guide is included with the ring set in case you ever want to size something accurately elsewhere.

Adjustable length

Necklaces and anklets use a chain extender — a short length of chain the clasp can attach anywhere along. That gives a two to three inch range on each piece, so a 17-inch necklace sits anywhere between 17 and 19.5 inches. The belt uses nine punched holes across roughly a twelve-inch range. The sun hat uses an internal drawstring.

The one place sizing still exists

Pierced earrings need pierced ears. That is not a size, but it is a fitting requirement, and it is the reason those items are sealed and non-returnable once opened. Every affected product page says so, and so does the bag and the checkout page.
